From diagnosis to treatment to rehabilitation, Lakeside Pet Hospital proudly handles nearly all of its veterinary and specialty care in house.
Our clinic is well equipped for medical emergencies, as is our trained staff of registered veterinary technicians. Our facility features a sterile operating room, ultrasound imaging equipment, digital radiology (including dental), a diagnostics lab, two exam rooms, multiple stock rooms of pet food and pet supplies, and our veterinary offices.

Dr. Kaplow graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. His undergraduate degree was earned at UC Santa Barbara.
Between his career as a licensed veterinarian and his younger years working as a veterinary technician, Dr. Kaplow has over 30 years of professional animal care experience.
Dr. Kaplow’s professional interests include ultrasound, internal medicine, geriatric medicine and ophthalmology. His personal interests include music (playing guitar and drums), sports (playing tennis and basketball) and especially activities with his family (camping trips and spending time with their dogs). Dr. Kaplow lives in Folsom with his wife, three children and four dogs.

Dr. Sollinger graduated from Western University of Health Sciences, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2009.
He received his undergraduate education at the University of Arizona in agriculture and pre-veterinary medicine.
After graduating in 2009, he practiced as an emergency and critical care veterinarian. He has since made the transition to clinical care. In his free time, Dr. Sollinger enjoys snowboarding, playing basketball, camping and spending time with his family. Dr. Sollinger lives with his wife, two children and cat in Cameron Park.
