Kitten Plan

Our Comprehensive Healthcare Plan for Kittens

(This plan covers preventative healthcare. It is not an insurance policy.)

$346.95

(Includes a 25% discount from regular fee schedule, prepaid at initial visit.)

Base Plan

Our veterinarians designed this plan to effectively and affordably provide all the necessary preventative treatments for your kitten’s first three months. It includes the cornerstones of early feline health:

  • Examinations – 2 exams (at initial and final plan visits), performed by Dr. Kaplow or Dr. Sollinger, will assess your kitten’s general health.

  • Vaccinations – Highly effective immunizations given against Feline Distemper, Upper Respiratory Infections including Chlamydia and Rabies.

  • Leukemia and AIDS testing – on your first visit, while you wait, we produce the hopefully-negative test results for these unfortunately-still-common deadly viral diseases. At 6 months of age, a follow-up test is performed.

  • Stool Parasite Exams and Deworming – 2 microscopic stool evaluations and medication for roundworms and tapeworms

Optionally, you may add any or all of the following add-ons to your base kitten plan (additional prices in parentheses).

Optional Add-Ons
  • Microchip – for permanent identification (includes lifelong registration) (Add $40.00)

  • Heartworm, Mite and Flea Protection – monthly medication to keep your kitten from getting deadly heartworms and to stay free of Mites and Fleas. (Add $52.57)

  • Felv Vaccination – vaccine given to cats that are going to be going outdoors or are exposed to outdoor cats. FeLV can be transmitted from infected cats when the transfer of saliva or nasal secretions is involved. It is a fatal immunosuppressive disease. (Add $61.50)

Any services beyond the scope of the above-described Kitten Plan are billed separately according to our regular fee schedule. In case of transfer of ownership of the kitten, the new owner may receive any remaining services on the plan. In the case of loss or premature death of the kitten, any remaining services may be credited toward future treatment of other animals. If you wish a monetary refund, we will add 20% fee reduction to recalculate the fees for all delivered services, then refund the difference.
